Climatic Characteristics of Summer High Temperature in Hu nan Province in Last 53 Years

Abstract:

Basted on the daily maximum air temperature data from 82 stations in Hu nan during 1961-2013, the climatic characteristics of high temperature in Hu nan were analyzed by using the statistical methods including trend analysis.The results show that the stations where annual average high temperature days mean high temperature and maximum high temperature were greater than climate mean values distributed in the south region of eastern Hu nan and the north area of central Hu nan.Overall annual average high temperature stations and mean high temperature presented increasing trend in the whole province,and the high temperature stations appeared in the middle of July to the early of August and mean high temperature reached above 36 ℃ and kept to the end of August.The
distribution of high temperature maximum duration showed decreasing trend from the central Hu nan to the surrounding areas.The spatial distribution of extremely continuous high temperature duration thresholds were similar to the maximum duration of high temperature,while the stations with more extremely continuous high temperature events times mainly distributed in the northern,southeastern and southwestern Hu nan.

摘要:

基于1961~2013年湖南82 个台站夏季逐日最高气温数据,采取线性趋势分析等方法分析了近53 a湖南高温(最高气温35 ℃)气候特征。结果表明,湖南省夏季多年平均高温日数高温均值及极端最高气温的大值区主要分布在湘东偏南及湘中偏北的部分地区。全省区域平均的多年平均高温站次及高温值总体呈线性增加趋势,7月中旬到8月上旬高温站次出现相对较多,7月8日起高温均值达到36 ℃以上并一直维持到8月末高温最大持续日数总体呈现从湘中衡阳株洲等地市向四周递减的分布趋势,极端持续高温日数阈值与高温最大持续日数空间分布较相似,但极端持续高温事件发生次数较多的台站主要分布在湘北湘东南及湘西南。
