积雪深度再分析资料在内蒙古的适用性评价

Applicability Evaluation of Snow Depth Reanalysis Data in Inner Mongolia#br#

摘要: 于欧洲中期天气预报中心(ECMWF)最新推出的两套再分析资料ERA-Interim/Land(简称“Land”)和ERA-20C(简称“20C”)1981—2010年积雪深度资料,以内蒙古地区气象台站观测资料为标准,综合评估积雪深度再分析资料在内蒙古地区的适用性。结果表明:(1)两套再分析资料都较好地再现了内蒙古积雪深度从东北向西南逐渐减少的空间分布特征,其中20C再分析资料更好地体现中东部积雪深度依次递减的趋势。(2)Land再分析资料的积雪深度与观测值差值的月际变化整体呈现负差值,系统模式低估计了积雪深度;而20C再分析资料的模拟效果在东西部较好,中部20C再分析资料的积雪深度与观测值的正差值较大。(3)两套再分析资料均能较好地再现内蒙东部、中部和西部地区积雪深度的逐月变化特征,均表现为东部模拟最好、中部次之、西部最差。(4)两套再分析资料的积雪深度平均偏差和均方根误差较小,再分析值和观测值的相关系数通过0.001 的显著性检验,20C和Land再分析资料的积雪深度差距不大,但与观测值比较均出现负偏差现象。

Abstract:  Based on snow depth during 1981-2010 from two reanalysis data sets :ERA-Interim/Land (hereafter referred to as Land) and ERA-20C (hereafter referred to as 20C), the observation data of meteorological stations in Inner Mongolia were taken as the standard, the applicability of snow depth of reanalysis in Inner Mongolia was evaluated comprehensively. The results were as follows: (1) Two reanalysis data sets both reproduced the spatial distribution of snow depth in Inner Mongolia, showing a significant decline trend from northeast to southwest, and 20C reanalysis described well in spatial distribution in descending order from northeast to southwest. (2) Monthly variation of average snow depth of Land reanalysis was compared with observations, it was found that a negative deviation existed on the whole and average snow depth of Land reanalysis was systematically underestimated. However, the simulation effect of 20C reanalysis in eastern and western region was good, and simulated snow depth of  20C reanalysis was compared with observations, it was found that the positive deviation of 20C reanalysis was larger in the central region. (3) The two reanalysis data sets reprensented well in monthly variation of snow depth in eastern, central and western Inner Mongolia. The simulation effect of 20C reanalysis was better than that of Land reanalysis. Simulation effect was best in the eastern region, followed by the central region, and the western region was worst. (4) The mean deviation and root mean square error of snow depth of two reanalysis data sets were relatively small, correlation coefficient between reanalysis and observed snow depth passd the 0.001 significance test. The difference of snow depth of two reanalysis data sets was smaller, but the difference between reanalysis and observed snow depth showed a negative bias.
