成都市2017年12月下旬重污染过程及气象条件特征

 in Chengdu in Late December 2017

2017年12月17日至2018年1月2日成都市发生一次重污染过程,利用中国生态环境部提供的成都市6个站点逐时环境监测资料,以及对应时次高空及地面气象观测资料,分析了本次污染过程的污染特征和气象条件。结果表明,在污染主要时段首要污染物为细颗粒物,后期逐渐转为粗颗粒物。污染开始阶段,成都上空位于高压脊前,受下沉气流控制,AQI持续上升;污染加强阶段,成都位于平直西风带中,垂直运动弱,污染进一步加强,AQI持续在200以上;污染减弱阶段,由于北方冷空气和南支槽东移,成都上空西风加强,有利于污染物的垂直扩散,AQI逐渐降低。污染物浓度从每日傍晚到次日正午逐渐上升,午后至傍晚污染物浓度有所下降。风速与污染物浓度变化趋势相反,地面相对湿度、逆温层厚度和强度的变化趋势与污染物浓度变化趋势相近。小股冷平流可使AQI有短时下降现象,而冷空气明显南压造成持续的冷平流以及地面风速增大,能有效地破坏逆温层,有利于污染物的扩散和污染浓度的明显降低。

Abstract:

There was a heavy pollution event from 17th December 2017 to 2nd January 2018 in Chengdu. Based on hourly environmental monitoring data of six stations provided by Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China and conventional high level, low level and ground level data provided by MICAPS system, the severe pollution process and the influence of meteorological conditions on this process were analyzed. The results show that during the main period of the process, primary pollutant was PM2.5 and then turned to PM10 at the end of the process. At the incipient stage, Chengdu was located in front of a high-pressure ridge and was controlled by downdraft with increasing AQI. At the enhancing stage, Chengdu was in straight westerlies with weak vertical movement. Pollution strengthened and AQI lasted over 200. At the weakening stage, because of the cold air from the north and south trough moving to the east, the westerlies above Chengdu were strengthened, which helped pollutants to diffuse in vertical direction and made AQI decrease. The concentration of pollutants increased from every nightfall to the next high noon and the air quality got better from afternoon to nightfall. The variation trend of wind speed was contrary to that of the concentrations of pollutants, while the variation trends of the ground relative humidity, the intensity and thickness of inversion layer were in accord with the trend of the concentrations of pollutants. Small cold advection led to short-time decrease of AQI, while continuous cold advection caused by obvious southward-moving cold air and the increase of ground wind speed broke the thermal inversion layer effectively, which led to the obvious decrease of pollutants concentration.
