Analysis of a Hail Storm in Wuqia of Xinjiang

乌恰雹暴的多普勒天气雷达个例分析

Abstract:

Based on the routine weather data and CINRAD Doppler radar data,the hail storm occurred on July 23,2008 in Wuqia was analyzed. The results indicated that Doppler radar detecting data could reflect the intensity and area of the hail storm. Reflectivity factor reflected the moving path and the whole process of small to middle scale weather system. Radial velocity and vertical wind profile reflected the structure of wind field.

摘要:

应用常规雹暴天气资料和喀什CINRAD/CC 多普勒天气雷达资料,对2008 年7 月23 日出现在克州境内乌恰县的一次雹暴天气进行分析。结果表明: 多普勒雷达探测资料能反应冰雹、降水的强度、落区,特别是反射率因子能很好地反映中小尺度天气系统移动路径和发生、发展、消亡过程,径向速度和垂直风廓线能较好地分析中小尺度天气系统的流场结构。
