Analysis on Macroscopic Characteristics of Winter Cloud in Huainan Area of Anhui Based on Ground-based Cloud Radar Data

摘要:

利用淮南气候环境综合试验站2015年1月云雷达观测资料,对淮南地区冬季云的宏观特征进行了研究。结果表明:(1)淮南地区冬季云云底高度在0.21~11.0 km,其中0.5 km和2.0 km高度云底出现频率最高,分别占全部云系的16.7%和11.3%;云顶分布在0.36~11.3 km,其中5.0 km和5.5 km处云顶出现频率最高,分别占全部云系的9.25%和10.0%。云层厚度为0.1~8.3 km,73.4%的云层厚度在2.0 km范围内。(2)低云、中云、高云分别占全部云系的44.0%、29.4%和26.6%,平均厚度分别为2.4 km、0.8 km和0.6 km。(3)该地区冬季总云量较少,为13.7%~21.8%。单层云出现频率占总云量的45.2%~77.8%,多层云出现频率随着层数的增加而减小。

Abstract:

The macroscopic characteristics of winter cloud in Huainan area of Anhui Province were studied by using the data of cloud radar in Huainan Climate and Environment Experiment Station in January 2015. The results are as follows: (1) The cloud base in winter in Huainan area ranged from 0.21 to 11.0 km, and the occurrence frequencies of 0.5 km and 2.0 km cloud base were the highest, they accounted for 16.7% and 11.3% of the total cloud system, respectively. While the cloud top was between the heights 0.36 and 11.3 km, and the occurring frequencies of 5.0 km and 5.5 km cloud top were the highest, they accounted for 9.25% and 10.0% of the total cloud system, respectively. The cloud thickness varied from 0.1 to 8.3 km, and about 73.4% cloud thickness was within 2 km. (2) For the all cloud system, the proportions of the low, middle and high clouds were 44.0%, 29.4% and 26.6%, respectively, and the average thickness of them was 2.4 km, 0.8 km and 0.6 km. (3) The total cloud amount in winter was between 13.7% and 21.8%. And the occurrence frequency of single-layer clouds was the highest, which accounted for 45.2%-77.8% of all the clouds. With the increase of the cloud layers, the frequency of the two-layer and above clouds reduced gradually.
