摘要：

用常规填图资料和多普勒雷达PPI资料，对2003年9月18日针对西北区域气象中心10周年庆典的气象保障服务进行了分析，主要论述了在气象资料无时间连续性的现实条件下，常规天气图分析预报方法对此次过程中小尺度天气系统预报的失效性，而应用多普勒雷达反射率因子图、速度图资料，通过分析径向风场的特征可预测该系统的影响。

关键词: 中小尺度天气系统, 极坐标, 径向散度
